Ceropegia Woodii or String of Hearts in an eye catching trailing succulent that is easy to care for.
Light: String of Hearts likes bright light but not all day sun, so somewhere with an hour or so of afternoon light would be perfect. You can tell when these plants are getting enough light by it's leaves. If they are not getting enough light the leaves will be paler in colour with less patterning and the gaps between the leaves will be longer.
Water: Like most succulents allow the soil to dry out between watering, water less frequently in Autumn/Winter once the growing season is over. If you notice leaves yellowing and dropping off over watering is probably the culprit so dial back the watering and make sure to leave it to dry out before watering again. If you are unsure about watering a water metre can be a handy tool to have.
Soil: Use well draining soil and remember to only move up a few inches in pot size to reduce the risk of your plant rotting. The more soil there is the longer it will take for your plant to dry out, so if you have a pot that is much bigger than needed it will take longer to dry thus increasing the chance of rotting.
Fertiliser: Fertilise once a month in growing season with half strength fertiliser.
